At DESIGNS IN FITNESS Personal Training Services and CrossFit Cape Fear, we work with a variety of clientele and we are dedicated to meeting your specific fitness and health objectives. How do we do this? First, we get to know you. In addition to doing a health and wellness survey, we will also conduct a fitness evaluation during your first session to determine:

• Body composition
• Current fitness level
• Muscular strength and endurance
• Cardiovascular endurance

Based on all of this, you’ll be paired with one of our certified professional trainers where, together, you and your trainer will create a safe, realistic, and effective workout to meet your specific needs and goals. Periodically, you will be reevaluated to see how you are progressing and meeting your goals. This is a crucial part of personal training so we can ensure your satisfaction! Here are just some areas that we will focus on...

Resistance training – to increase your body's strength, muscle tone, and ability to burn fat for a stronger, leaner body.
Flexibility training - to correct poor posture imbalances and increase range of motion.
Cardiovascular training - to help boost fat loss, increases your metabolism & energy, improve your ability to burn fat for energy, and improve overall health.
Nutritional recommendations – to get you started on healthy and nutritious eating. We also have a Registered Dietician on staff for additional services!
Full-time access to your personal trainer - As you start on a healthier lifestyle, you will come up with questions along the way, or need professional advice on various situations. As a veteran in the industry, your personal trainer either has all of the answers that you could possibly need, or knows where to find them. You will have an email address and a telephone number to reach your personal trainer as often as you need to so that you can stay on track with your fitness and personal goals.

So, what’s the next step?

First, decide what you are looking for - Personal training, participation in CrossFit Cape Fear or both. Then you can fill out our online questionnaire so we can get it immediately or download a copy of it to bring in to us.

Next, we need to schedule a time for us to sit down and discuss the results. You can do that by email or calling us at (910) 306-3142.

During this meeting, you will need to bring two additional things with you if possible:

1. A list of what you have been eating and when. Good or bad doesn’t matter – we want to see the patterns and habits you’ve set.
2. Your current workout if you have been exercising. Break it down by days and exercises and we’ll go from there!

That’s it! Once we have these, we can determine what would best suit your needs, lifestyle, and goals and get you started on one of our packages. Typically, after the consultation, we can have you training by the next day! That way, you keep your motivation high and can start seeing results as quickly as possible!

Finally, I personally guarantee that your trainer sessions will be motivating, focused, and challenging! We will encourage you and provide you with safe, challenging and result oriented programs. Over time, you will see visible changes, feel your energy increase, and become stronger, leaner, and more confident! Naturally, as you become stronger and more flexible, you will look and feel great.
